Regulators may now register to attend the 14th Annual State Onsite Regulators Alliance & Captains of Industry (SORA/COI) Conference.

This year's event is being held in conjunction with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) 76th Annual Educational Conference and Exhibition and the California Onsite Wastewater Association (COWA) and their annual Educational Forum. This triple event will be held June 27 - 30, 2012, in San Diego, California, at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina. The SORA/COI Conference begins on Wednesday afternoon, June 27th, and concludes on Friday evening, June 29th. An optional onsite field trip, arranged by NEHA, is scheduled for June 30th.

Each member (state/tribe/province) will receive two free registrations for its officially designated representatives. To receive a free registration, designated representatives must register through SORA. Register Here.

Free Registrations include:

  • Full access to the Exhibition Hall including food events on June 28th and 29th.
  • Register for attending the NEHA sponsored onsite wastewater field trip at no cost. (Register early as seats are limited.)
  • Full access to all official SORA/COI events. Agenda
  • Full access to all NEHA educational sessions.
  • Full access to all COWA educational sessions.

The National Environmental Services Center is once again offering one travel stipend per member state/tribe/province. To obtain a stipend, the authorized state representative should submit a request during the SORA registration. Register Here. Once registered, we will contact the registered, authorized representatives with further stipend processing instructions. Keep in mind that only the authorized representative member may request the stipend. Please register immediately as both time to process stipend request and funding availability are limited.

We look forward to seeing you in San Diego in June.

Lodging Information:

If you plan to arrive before Wednesday, be advised there are no room available at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina for Tuesday night, June 26th. There are rooms available at the Manchester Grand Hyatt for that night (Please see the NEHA lodging information page for complete details). We recommend, if possible, arriving the morning of June 27th. SORA/COI sessions don't begin until 1:00 p.m.!
